Dear valued Prepaid Card holder,
We regret to inform you that Sinopay (Singapore) Pte Ltd (“Sinopay”) has voluntarily withdrawn our application for Major Payment Institution Licenses under the Payment Services Act 2019 (“PSA”).
As a result, effective 6 March 2024, we have ceased issuing new UnionPay Prepaid Card. This includes any further top-ups of funds on your existing UnionPay Prepaid Cards.
However, we want to assure you that you can continue to use the balance stored on your card wallet for purchasing of goods and services at any UnionPay merchant. You have until October 11, 2024, or until the expiry date of your card, whichever comes earlier, to utilize these funds. If you decide to request a refund for the unused balance, please reach out to us via email at service@sinopaygroup.com or contact our hotline at +65 6222 2635 (Singapore) / +86 400-7755-889 (China). Our dedicated team will guide you through the refund process. Our office hours are from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday to Friday.
